On
September 10-11, 2005,
the top ten qualifying
contestants in the IPRA's
Western Region will
be competing for $21,000.00
in prize money and an
additional $5,000.00
in awards. Starts
at 3:00 pm on both Saturday
& Sunday.
Isleton
has been selected as
the new home of the
International Professional
Rodeo Association's
Western Region
Finals.
The IPRA has confidence
that the small town
of Isleton, through
the support of their
community events and
fundraisers, will produce
one of the largest regional
finals in the United
States to date.
This
year's IPRA rodeo runs
two
days and features seven
events, a Queen contest,
the Mokelumne Mounties
and much more.
We have
a grand parade on Sunday
featuring our Fire Department,
many Shriner groups,
numerous dignitaries
from the City, County
and State, and our Rodeo
Queen.
